Buro Happold, an engineering firm based in the UK. Inspired by ancient structures such as the Roman Pantheon, the technology uses a unique "re-entrant" geometry that creates a self-supporting structure without the need for columns or other traditional supports. This technology has been used to construct a large domed structure in Dubai, which is currently being used as an exhibition space. The dome has a diameter of 60 meters and is made up of 28 panels, each weighing up to 75 tons. The technology is said to be more efficient and cost-effective than traditional construction methods, as well as being more sustainable. Buro Happold hopes that this technology will revolutionize the construction industry and pave the way for more innovative and sustainable building designs in the future.
