Veterans Village: Sustainable & Affordable Homes for Ex-Military Personnel through 3D Printing Tech

Azure, a company specializing in 3D printing technology, is set to develop a housing project called Veterans Village, aimed at providing compact two-bedroom homes for ex-military personnel. The homes will have 900ft2 of floorspace and will be constructed using recycled materials, specifically plastic that would otherwise end up in landfills or the sea.

Azure aims to contribute to a circular economy by maximizing the use of previously used materials. The use of 3D printing technology will significantly reduce construction time and costs, enabling the provision of affordable housing for veterans. The homes will incorporate modern design, innovative construction techniques, and energy-efficient features to minimize utility costs. The project is expected to commence later this year, adding to the growing trend of sustainable and rapid construction using 3D printed homes.
